About Gua Sha Stone
Gua Sha Stone is an independent skincare site about one small tool and how to use it well. We write about facial and body gua sha: the strokes, the stones, choosing between jade, rose quartz, and bian stone, keeping your tool clean, building a routine that sticks, and setting expectations that match reality.
The approach here is calm and practical. Gua sha is a lovely, low-cost addition to a skincare routine, and for a lot of people it’s genuinely relaxing — a few slow minutes that ease the tension you carry in your jaw, brow, and neck. But it isn’t a face-lift, a detox, or a medical device, and we won’t pretend otherwise. When we describe a benefit, we describe it the way an honest friend would: what tends to happen, for many people, some of the time.
A note on health. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and we don’t diagnose or treat anything. Gua sha as we cover it is a gentle skincare and relaxation practice. If you have a skin condition, bruise or bleed easily, take blood thinners, are pregnant, or have had recent facial procedures, check with a qualified professional before starting — and stop if anything hurts.
We don’t spin content or chase trends we can’t stand behind. Everything here is written from hands-on use and careful reading, in plain language, for people who just want to do this properly. If that’s you, welcome.
